DSF22 is the third and latest generation of GPS/GSM monitoring terminal developed by Digital Systems, replacing older models DSF20 and DSF21. It is designed as a multifunction device that includes a combination of four different devices in one:

      • Real time GPS monitoring device with unique fuel control module
      • Fuel theft alarm (sends SMS alert in case of fuel theft)
      • Vehicle security system with engine cut-off possibility
      • Remote control (activate vehicle’s equipment remotely)

Direct connetction to vehicle’s fuel sensor.

DSF22 have unique fuel control module with possibility connect to vehicle’s original fuel sensor. No matter – is it passenger car, commercial van, truck or tractor. If there is fuel sensor in the fuel tank, DSF22 can read it and provide accurate information about fuel level.

Fuel theft alarm.

Each time after vehicle’s ignition is switched off, DSF22 remembers actual fuel level in vehicle’s fuel tank. In case if fuel level drops, DSF22 will send SMS alert to predefined phone numbers and activates siren. Fuel theft alarm works with vehicle’s original fuel sensor, there is no need to install additional fuel sensors.

Fuel data procession.

DSF22 have built-in fuel data procession algorithm. Depending of vehicle usage, aquired fuel data will be processed, removing noises cause by fuel moving in the fuel tank. As result of data procession, DSF22 will send correct amount of fuel to monitoring server.

Low power consumtion.

With help of speaccialy designed idle mode, DSF22 have very low power consumtion  – only 38mA, with full functionality. No need to disable features to reduce power consumtion.

Automatic activation (recommended)

The software platform supports automatic device activation by applying APN settings, server address and port, as well as recommended tracking mode though the SMS channel. Normally you don’t need to configure anything manually. Just install the SIM card, switch the device ON and make sure it is located in the place with good GPS signal reception.

You also need to keep the device with initial factory settings, in particular:

  • Do not set any password, keep it clear (as by default)
  • Do not set any master number prior to the device activation
  • Do not set local Time zone, it must be UTC+0h (as by default)

Manual configuration

If the automatic activation failed, you can point the device to the server manually by sending these commands to the device:

  • SET P10 <apn name>
  • SET P14 <apn user>
  • SET P15 <apn password>

  • SET P22 <tracking time interval>
    • <APN> – APN of your GSM provider
